Come Valentine's Day I'm usually ready to decorate with pops red, but this year I wanted to opt for a more feminine, pink design! I've been having fun decorating with pink lately, it makes me feel extra girly! And my husband doesn't mind it, in moderation!
While at my local grocery, I spotted these dainty pink carnations on clearance! I snagged two bunches for $1.99 each! I added them to my favorite ceramic pitcher; instant charm! I enjoy carnations just as much as a super expensive bloom. Although the head is smaller in size, they have many, beautiful layers that make them easy to love! I snipped the smaller ones and put them into a mercury glass votive. This mantle is simple, but beautiful. Sometimes I try to enjoy the simple things a little more!
