I wanted to bring in some color into my normally neutral decor, for Spring. While painting one day with my daughter, I thought I would play around with some basic designs and created some fun pieces for Spring! I really love this idea to frame your little one's art too! I can't wait to display some of their masterpieces in our basement!
For this project, I combined pastels in lines using swiping motions, alternating the colors. Let dry. I scored two beautiful picture frames, from Target on clearance for $4.98 each, earlier in the week and knew the watercolor would look perfect in them! I simply traced the size of the frame and inserted them! Voila, instant, beautiful color!
I cannot wait to make more!! You can really let your creativity show with projects like this! Making one of a kind pieces for your home, as gifts, invitations and more!
Sharing this project on these lovely blogs!
Beautiful blog, and i love the watercolor work that you did with your daughter! As a watercolor artist, i just love letting loose and playing with watercolor, and, as you showed, it's fun for all ages!
