DIY Metallic Jewelry Plate

If you're like me, your jewelry ends up in a pile on your dresser, or even in my case, on top of my jewelry armoire. I have a few statement pieces that I wear just about all the time! A sweet mix of rose gold, gold and silver. I like to keep them easily accessible for when I'm getting ready quickly I can just grab them and go! I wanted a convenient place for them to rest when I wasn't wearing them without being in the way, so after seeing a few different  projects on Pinterest, I created something of my own!

I bought a plain ceramic plate from the dollar store and used my gold and silver metallic Sharpies I already had. The fun thing about this project is you can design it however you want! I decided I wanted mine to say "hello beautiful" :) The fun thing about using the markers, is if you mess up, you can quickly wipe it off and try again! I completed the look by adding some polka dots! Bake your plate in a pre-heated oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool completely and enjoy!

I am so pleased with how darling it is, and it's just perfect for all my favorite pieces I wear so often! I also think this would make the perfect gift idea, especially for a bridal shower, personalizing it with her married name!
