Adding Accents!

I'm so glad it's the weekend! It's hard to believe we've been in the new house, a week already!! I feel like I haven't gotten much accomplished unpacking and organizing, so that is our goal for the weekend!

Ran by Marshalls today and found a gorgeous selection of rugs! These aren't the heavy area rugs, they are handmade in India and offer color and definition to your room! I have decided to decorate our living room in an old world theme. The main color will be natural hues (light browns, creams and whites) with my accent color as a dark, or mustard, yellow. I love the color combination! The furniture I have for my formal dining room is a yellow-ish color, so it all ties together really well.

Also came across this darling quatrefoil rug for my entry way! I hope to get a lot accomplished this weekend, so I will post pics as it happens!
