DIY- - I love you board!

Always waking up to a sweet note from my husband, or knowing he left a note for our son to wake up to, makes my day! Lately though, life has been very busy, which is okay, it keeps us going, but makes it difficult to leave those little special things that start our day off right... Thanks to Pinterest, I got the idea to make an " i love you because..." board. It will make it simple just to write down a couple words quickly, but show you care!! Here's what you're going to need:

• Picture frame, with glass
• Scrapbook paper
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Permanent marker
• Dry erase marker

This is an extremely effortless project that will take you under ten minutes! I bought my picture frame from the dollar store, for $1. It was black, I spray painted it ivory with paint I already had prior to this project. I also already had the scrapbook paper, but normally you can buy any design of choice for under $1 too! I started by removing the backing of the picture frame and removing the glass. I traced the glass on the back of the scrapbook paper and cut it out. The design that was on my scrapbook paper was a little busy, so I added a gold sheer piece of scrapbook paper, cut it out with decorative scissors and wrote, " i love you because...". I also had to add an additional piece of the sheer paper below in order for us to write our special note :) I glued both pieces of small gold paper to the larger piece, let dry and put it back in the picture frame. All that's left to do is, add your special note and you're all done! You can add little embellishments like flowers, buttons, etc. to the picture frame to dress it up a bit, if you like. Keep the dry erase marker near and a paper towel for an eraser. Now go make someones day!!
