Easy Valentines Banner!

Whenever I go to Target, I have to check out the "dollar corner" and see what little deals I can find :) They have fun little projects for you and your kids, or cheap craft ideas for you! I wanted to make a cute banner, I didn't really know where to start, but I found some great things! I bought a 10 piece foam heart set; 5 red hearts and 5 pink hearts. I also bought 6 feet of pre-cut felt; it came in a pack with 2 feet each of red, pink and white. The felt was suggested as a scrapbooking supply, but it worked great for the banner I was planning to make!

Supplies you will need:
  • Foam hearts or similar
  • Felt or ribbon
  • Glue gun and glue
You really won't believe how simple this project is, and how cute it will be! First, since my felt pieces were not attached, each 2 foot piece was separate. I started by using my hot glue gun to attach the three felt pieces. Second, I layed out the felt across my table, and arranged the foam hearts in the desired places. I left about two inches at each end, for attaching purposes. Third, I used my hot glue gun to attach the hearts to the felt and repeated until I was done. I only ended up using eight of the foam hearts, not all ten. Believe it or not, that's it!! Took less than ten minutes, and that's not even the best part... It cost a total of.... $2!! Now that's a great deal :)
