Who doesn't love a cute coffee mug? Okay, maybe not everyone has a slight obsession with mugs like I do, but if you know someone who does, or even just looking for a gift to give someone, this one's for you! It really couldn't be an simpler, and it's super budget friendly!
I spotted these white ceramic mugs at the Dollar Store for $1 each, so I snagged a couple up!! A few days prior, I had bought a pretty mint metallic and a coral sharpie pens at Target, and knew they would be perfect for this project! If you have a specific phrase or design in mind, you can really just get right to it! Start by drawing or writing your design onto your mug. Keep in mind you can always trace stencils, put down stickers, like for initials, draw your design and then remove the stickers before baking. Once you've finished your design, place the mugs in a preheated oven, 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool completely. If you find that your easily wipes off, bake it for a long time.
Note, these mugs shouldn't be placed in the dishwasher, hand wash only!
I love the thoughts of these for party favors, hot cocoa bars, birthday presents, or better yet, personalized Christmas gifts! The possibilities are endless and you can create them to fit a specific personality, I love it!
Sharing this project on these lovely blogs!
