{ A Special Birthday Request }

I can remember as a kid, around my birthday, the excitement of getting cards in the mail! Whether it was from family or friends, it made me feel so special to know they were thinking of me! To this day, I still enjoy receiving cards in the mail and I often still write to friends and family just to let them know I'm thinking about them! Such a simple gesture can really make someones day :)

And this brings us to a special story I want to share with you today! This is a story of a little girl name Liliana. Liliana was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February of 2012. She will be turning six on August 23rd and guess what she looks forward to receiving the most? Birthday cards! I've never met this little girl, nor do I know any of her family, I'm just touched by her story and want her to know how special she is!
