Before we headed home that afternoon, we stopped by Lowes to pick up a few other things and I browsed the spray paint. I found the color perfect for this project, it was Valspar la fonda mirage, flat . It resembles a light robin egg blue, it was the perfect color! Once home, I gave it a good two coats, allowing each to dry in between. Once it was completely dry, I roughed up the edges and sides with a low grain sanding block.
I was so pleased with the end result, it fits perfect on our kitchen island. Mason jars fit comfortably in the small sections to don fresh flowers throughout the week! And dare I say it, it even acts as a catch all between sunglasses, car keys and the days mail ;)

DeleteLove that tray/caddie. We make them so this one will be little different style, love it. They're fairly easy and quick for hubs to make up so will most likely make couple anyway. One for me and one for selling. The color is awesome, love love it..can hardly wait to get to Lowes to find the spray paint. Glad you shared this project, love it.
